As I mentioned in our 4P Predictions for 2023 post last week, the uppermost asset for any organization is its talented team members!
This includes each and every talented Behaviorally staff member. But it also includes all our suppliers, our customers, and anyone else we can count as a stakeholder in our mission to help brands achieve the most valuable moment in marketing: when a consumer choice drives a purchase transaction.
We have closed out 2022 with a resilient showing, moving forward in a year when uncertainty may have caused others to stall. With the support of all the people just mentioned, our Behaviorally team stayed aligned with our core values and delivered against some incredibly ambitious objectives. I couldn’t be more inspired by all those in the company who grew with us!
Anticipating what was needed to succeed to define tomorrow, today, and investing wisely to get there, came down to three things in 2022:
First, serving our clients globally. Since our carve out as Behaviorally in January of 2021, we have expanded our footprint from the US to Singapore, China and the UK, as well as this year establishing hubs in over 8 new countries, including Australia, Switzerland, Germany, France, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, and Dubai. All to better serve our clients. This required the commitment of new staff in each region, as well as significant efforts of our corporate and central services to equip these new teams for success supporting our leading brands in all corners of the world!
Second, an unwavering commitment to digitization. Whether through the application of AI and computer vision to improve conversion at the digital shelf, PackPower Score™ to predict packaging effectiveness, automation of access to our library of digital shelves, and even experiments in the ways research can happen in the metaverse, in 2022 we continued a multi-year initiative to embrace digitization. We are on track to have 85% of our product suite integrated through AI by this time in 2023 and plan to continue to leverage technology to support efficiency that supports our clients and staff, and product innovation.
Third, responsible corporate behavior. We have made the pledge to our staff, customers, stakeholders and the greater industry at large that we are pursuing our ambitions for growth with one guiding principle: We will lead from a foundation of Environmental, Social and Governance goals that are the emerging standard of excellence by which all world-class companies will be judged. We have embedded these ESG principles in every aspect of our business, from our We Better Behave events that showcase the sustainability achievement of our clients, through to the measurement and celebration of our own contributions, and progress toward DE&I and environmental goals.
It has been a momentous year. As I said at the beginning of this post, it is ultimately people who make a vision for decision intelligence consultancy a reality. From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU to everyone, most especially our staff, for your enduring confidence in our mission, your energy and resilience. I sincerely hope you have a Happy New Year! I can’t wait for 2023 and am excited to see our predictions and plans for next year come to fruition!
In the meantime, here are a few highlights from 2022:
