Celebrating 2021 Thus Far … and Gearing Up for the Future

With the end of a busy and exciting first half of 2021, the official start of the summer in the northern hemisphere, as well as a long holiday weekend coming up in the US, we thought it was a great opportunity to pause, contemplate how far we have come, and the exhilarating (if daunting) changes in the retail environment that will shape the next six months!

As the pandemic became a year and a half disruption and challenge, we have seen permanent shifts in shopper behavior as lockdowns forced virtually all of us home at some point. But as we rebound to a new normal, we see clients adapting and looking for ways to regain equilibrium and seize refreshed opportunities for global growth.

The first half 2021 witnessed our re-brand from PRS IN VIVO USA to Behaviorally, manifesting our new vision and brand promise: we are a digital-first, shopper marketing advisor to brands that need to define and diagnose all touchpoints along the path-to-purchase. We opened new offices, staffed by some incredibly talented team members, in Asia and Europe. And we began the unveiling of new products, such as Flash.AI™ which combines our extensive database of pack and shelf designs with visual recognition AI for early pack evaluation. Stay tuned for further new solutions coming in H2 to address the points of pain experienced by every shopper marketer trying to compete and win at the digital shelf.

Our investments and focus on the things that impact clients the most have helped Behaviorally realize significant businesses transformation including a fourfold increase in proportion of work completed that addresses digital shopper objectives, significant gains in terms of turn-around time for clients via adoption of our digital library for planogram creation across the majority of studies as well as solid double-digit revenue growth in both our define and diagnose business lines.

So in addition to the hope that we have turned the COVID corner, we truly have great news to celebrate. Therefore, it’s appropriate to express our deep and sincere thanks to all of our clients for joining us in this transformative journey, our partners and stakeholders for helping us realize our vision operationally, as well as all the staff of Behaviorally who have provided each other (and me personally!) with inspiration, reliability and stability throughout an incredible six months. Behaviorally would be nothing were it not for our great team members around the world!

Happy July 4th for those who celebrate! We have an exciting H2 coming up as we’ve only just begun our mission of helping clients drive shopper growth, regardless of the challenges they face in the future, and in a world where e-commerce is quickly becoming simply commerce.
